I don't think so. Maybe we're not going to be highly active in the transfer market this summer but hey I reckon this is a pretty good line up for next season. I'd rather we spent a reasonable sum on a good quality creative midfielder and posiibly Nicky Shorey and trimmed the squad than get a whole face lift which we don't need.

Neill can go I reckon. If he doesn't go he should at least lose the captaincy, he's been a liability for much of the season. Give the captaincy to Scotty Parker.
Plus I don't rate Shorey. I did but went off him. Better to go for someone of Wayne Bridge's calibre.
Otherwise, I agree, looks pretty good, shame about the manager (I reckon Curbs will stay now unless we get humiliated today)

Agree with that squad actually Dave,i would like to sign Shorey (especially if Reading do go down) bargain basement time.

Really want to see a CLASS center midfielder,its actually one of the few points that we ALL seem to agree on here in this forum. Wink

Agree that Lucas should lose the Captaincy he seems to have struggled with the extra pressure this season,like to see it go to Parker as well,(WOW we agree on something beexie Laughing )

Spot on Davie boy. Squads not bad, has been all season, it's the fucken injuries that has killed us. Bit more quality coming in, CC quality going out plus some fucken luck on the injury front and it's a pretty competitive side.
