I own 2005 & 2007 versions. I find if i buy it every second year then i get my moneys worth of changes and improvements rather than buying it every year and only seeing minimal improvement.

Haven't played '07 for a few months now though.

Great game! Way too many hours logged! :?

'08 was disapointing and the match engine sucked. its apparently been fixed up by the current patch though. I needa geta crack though :P

I play it about 5 hours every day... I have done so since it came out in 93 on the amiga and atari st... and I have played every one in between including the first ever champ italia in 94....

You're thinking championship manager. I used to love that game :) I had it for the Amiga too Championship Manager 93. :cool:

Playing FM2008 at the momment and i've been addicted since Championship Manager! Mind you it is hard to find time these days between, the missus, the new born and work!

I'm interested to hear what players are buying and what little gems you have found...

I'll start:

Lewis Stevenson (DL, WBL, ML anywhere on the left) - ?? (Cheap)

They always throw in the odd cheap wild card for you to find don't they.

I remember when I was playing them in the mid nineties - Quashie from QPR was always cheap and awesome. Now in real life he's just cheap. :lol:
