anything less than 0-4 is a result after last week.
Bobby will come good today. _________________

| I have no idea what might happen.. The way we have looked up front a 0-0 result is probably the best we can hope for..

1-1 at the break. It was dead quiet. And the defense was nowhere for their goal. Anton is still shaky from set pieces and im not overly confident with Spector in the middle. Zamora isnt having a terrible game but hes clearly not 100%
But then Ashton scores a goal out of NOWHERE! And suddenly the crowd is behind the players again and we look good! Ashton set up one or two more chances and if they can keep playing the way they ended the second half then we could seriously win this one.
I gotta say i havent celebrated a goal with such joy since the man u game. We REALLY needed it. and on top of that its lifted me up and im not feeling AS shit I'm feeling the same was as when Tevez scored that goal against Sp*rs. It's Really uplifting.
now theyll probably break my heart knowing West Ham. COME ON YOU IRONS!

Amazing! It had to happen! You almost knew when he was brought on he was gonna score. He was almost in tears after he scored it.
Thats another one of those joyful uplifting goals. I Was jumping around my living room. Order for next seasons shirts With sears and noble on the back I feel fucking old and im only 19!
Great game though. Lots of chances both ways but i feel we wanted it more And Damn Fucking straight after the last 2 weeks! Ashton has an outstanding game IMO. I think hes finally recapturing his old form. Anton got better through the match and what a save by green! Even Neill was great (though thats not hard after his recent form). Our Midfield put together some wonderful passing plays and though there were some bad ones i think the good outweighed the bad.
Green 8
Neill 7
Anton 7
Spector 7
McCartney 7
(7's all round )
Ljungburg high 7
Mullins High 7
Parker 8
Solano 8
Zamora 7 Played wel considering he's still not 100%
Ashton High 8
Subs
Sears 7. On for 5 minutes and he scores. Not to mention hes only 18. Brilliance.
Noble 7 Good passing and some good defense at the end to waste some time
Paintsil 6 Was only on a little while and didnt have much to do.
I am so happy right now you wouldnt beleive, Chances are ive got Claret and Blue goggles on and all those ratings are off but I DONT FUCKING CARE! 2-1 COME ON YOU IRONS!

Don't want to shit on Neill all the time but where was he for their goal? Break down the left and he was nowhere in sight
Thought he did ok apart from that but very costly if we hadn't got back into it.

I know dave, and i was pissed and looking to see wtf he was on the replays cos without him spector and had to go over instead of being able to cover his man in the middle. Naturally Lucas was running at 3/4 pace back to the goals instead of sprinting like he should have. Alas. but at least we won.
I dont think theyve beaten us at Upton Park since before i even moved to London I know my 2nd or 3rd trip to Upton Park was against Blackburn which we won. And once again Blackburn set us on track after wed been playing crap. Last year after that terrible club record losing streak and then to get us our first in the 7 of 9. Thank You blackburn for always being there for us
do you think they're subconsciously paying us back for stopping Man U from winning the title all those years back?
We've now Doubled Fulham, Blackburn and 'boro. We can still double Derby (Can we go out for this one? its like mid april), Sunderland and Man U.
Ok bed tiem now.

FOOKIN BLOODY MARVELLOUS!
Imagine Freddy Sears, 18 years old, everyone saying, "he's brilliant, he can score with his eyes shut, just give him a chance". Talk about pressure! He fuckin does it, unbelievable, that's real bottle. Good on him and Deano and West Ham. Risky was right, this game felt HUGE!Pride restored (at least for another week!) Feel relieved and exhausted BUT FUCKIN PROUD!!

| How badly did we need that win! Wasn't so much joy but just sheer bloody relief! Good to see Curbs leave Ashton and Bobby on when he brought Sears in. Anybodies game at the time, could've gone against him but he had the balls to go for it and it paid off. Need Upson back ASAP, Anton doesn't look as comfortable with him gone.

Ok. Seen the game now. Neill was in acres of space to right of Parker when he lost it. Don't know where Nobby was. Believe could blame all of Parker (losing ball), Neill (his side/man), Spector (kept all onside), Anton (not seeing Cruz to sprint after him soon enough) for the goal. So guess depends who you don't like.
All in all, thought we played well. Game them limited opportuniuties albeit a couple of good ones. Ashton finally worked hard and looked good, including jumping. Zam also worked hard.
Would like to see Parker Noble in centre mid for Everton game. Still obvious need creator despite best combined midfield efforts.

Nothing to do with who I don't like. It's perfectly legitimate to ask where he was when the attack broke down the left and our right back was half way up the pitch forcing our centre half to come out of position leaving a free man in the middle to head in a simple cross. I do like Neill but all I've ever been saying about him is he is prone to getting caught out up the pitch and this case proves my point entirely. These things are costly and the last thing we needed was to concede an early goal as we've proved decent sides can hang us out to dry for it. I said previously apart from that he had an ok game but 1 costly early error can ruin it for us as we've shown in our prior 4-0 defeats. Last week Ferdinand fucked it for us and we were made to pay.

Said where he was. Up in acres of space supporting our attack. Not saying he isn't partly to blame. But reckon it also lies with Spector allowing them all onside when needed to step up with Anton. Yes he had to come across. But Anton should have also realised danger and done bit better as well. Parker giving it away like that while committed forward didn't help but I don't blame him. Have to go for passes like that if going to score some.
I know conceding an early goal is bad especially considering last 3 performances but would prefer Neill go forward to try to get a goal like he did for pass to Ashton for Sears goal instead of negative defending and watch a boring defensive game.
