Years supported West Ham: About 12. Was the 99/00 season i fell in love with the club as a 10 year old.

Your West Ham experience:

First game: 1-0 V Everton at the Boleyn, Zamora got the only goal early in the game was the first game of the four we won at the end of the season to stay up. That and away to Bristol Rovers in the Carling Cup when Dyer broke his leg are the only games I've seen live of West Ham.

Visits to Upton Park: The Everton game in 07 and spent a night at UP overnight as they turn the exec suites into Hotel rooms between the seasons.

Other West Ham related info: Grew up with Dutch parents hence the Ajax support since birth. Step-father's family were from Dagenham and Essex so they were the ones who initial planted the seed of West Ham support. Paolo Di Canio and Shaka Hislop were my favourite players at the time. Have Paolo largely to thank for making me a genuine supporter of the club.

Non West Ham stuff you wanna get off your chest whilst we're at it?: I also support AFC Ajax, Melbourne Heart (naturally a John Van't Schip fan boy with the Ajax connection) and Yeovil Town (Lived just outside Yeovil for a year in '07 playing cricket semi-professionally for a club over the border in Dorset).

Outside of football I live in Yokine north of Perth and am studying to become a Primary School teacher.

Haha... I did the same thing just before I left London - i don't think its quite what my girlfriend had in mind when I suggested a 'weekend away', but I certainly enjoyed it!!

I could think of anywhere more romantic than smack dab in the middle of East London. Especially with that place that had the clock saying "don't kill your wife, let us do it for you" Out the front as you walk up Green street to UP. Romantic.

Do any of the East End born and raised actually know what that place with the clock actually is?

First game: 1991, Home to Plymouth Argyle in a league game. It finished 2-2, and I thought that meant we’d have to have a replay…

Visits to Upton Park: A fair few, never a season ticket holder, but used to get to UP as much as I could. Probably about 3-4 games a season from 1991 to 2000.

Other West Ham related info: Not too much really, I was around 8-9 when I really started getting into football, and my dad supported West Ham, so it seemed like the natural choice (while everyone else around me was choosing Arsenal and Liverpool – I was living in North Kent FFS!!). Moved up to London when I was 16, which increased the visits to UP.
