Thought I would start a topic on this to see what the reaction from you all is. I was 50/50 on whether we would stay up to be honest. While the skunks have been absolutely shit this season, they're the type of lucky bastards who would get out of it on the last day with some bollocks goal. Luckily enough this didn't happen and the scum have been relegated Sorry to Trev but I expected Boro to go down. Hopefully this starts a turnaround at the club and you're back up soon. Personally I think Newcastle are in deep shit. On the Sunderland Message Boards they quoted a commentator saying "15 players on £50k a week or more and not a relegation clause in sight..." I think it will be a long time before Newcastle become anything close to competitive again.

I wasn't sure how results were going but I was hoping the Mackems would stay up. As I predicted boro went down and personally, im glad to see Newcastle go down. For as long as i can remember theyve always had this smug sense of supeiority about the fact theyve never been relegated from the premier league. So fuck off to them Now if Spurs get relegated next season and Burnley win tonight. All will be right with the world
